Oil rigs and the excavator through a Smart Alarm
How it works
The small and large oil rigs and the excavator broadcast on their own frequency. An RF Receiver picks it up and powers a Smart Alarm, and Rust++ sends an event notification.
| Event | Frequency | When it broadcasts |
|---|---|---|
| Small oil rig | 4765 | for a minute from the start of the crate unlock |
| Large oil rig | 4768 | for a minute from the start of the crate unlock |
| Excavator | 4777 | while the engine runs |
The in-game circuit
- RF ReceiverPlace an RF Receiver, power it and set the event frequency.
- Smart AlarmWire the receiver output to the Smart Alarm input and pair the alarm with Rust++.
- What it signalsPick the event in the “New connection” window or in the alarm settings.
Each event needs its own circuit and its own alarm.
What you see in Rust++
- a “Small oil rig: crate unlocks in 15 minutes” notification, and “crate unlocked” 15 minutes later;
- in “Notifications”, the “Events” tab: what is happening now, time to the crate, the event feed;
- a new crate on an oil rig appears no later than 65 minutes after the unlock, if nobody is on it;
- the excavator: how long it has been running and how much Diesel Fuel it burned — one barrel per 2 minutes;
- “Excavator stopped” when its signal goes off — it ran out of Diesel Fuel or was switched off;
- your own text for the start of an event — the “Notification text” field of the alarm, empty means the default text;
- the
!eventscommand in team chat.
